2 Bottles Turning Leaf Merlot
Rind from 1 orange
Juice from 2 oranges
2 broken up cinnamon sticks
12 whole cloves
14 whole allspice
1/2 cup water
3 cups apple cider or juice
½ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
¼ tsp. Ground Nutmeg
¼ tsp. Ground Ginger
Cheesecloth
Pour wine, water, apple cider, orange juice and lemon juice into crock pot and add brown sugar, ground nutmeg and ground ginger. Tie up the orange peel, cinnamon stick, cloves and allspice in the cheesecloth. Add the cheesecloth bundle to the crock pot. Cook on high for 2 hours. Remove cheesecloth bundle. Let cool. Pour into bottles.
I couldn't find cheesecloth but I found large tea balls.
